Trying to get back on track this January but can’t ditch the sweets? Try these easy, peanut buttery and perfectly sweet date squares better than the ones you can buy at the grocery store.
Some Notes on the Ingredients and Equipment:
Dates - I used pitted dates from the brand Parnoosh.
Peanut Butter - I like to use natural crunchy peanut butter.
Dark chocolate - Any chocolate will work very well, I just find that dark chocolate offers the best flavour to compliment the peanut butter.
Coconut oil - The coconut oil helps to keep the bars solid when refrigerated.
Pie plate - I use the aluminum ones you can find at the dollar store because the bars pop out super easily and causes no mess!
Notes:
These will keep in the fridge for 2 weeks, but they won’t last that long - trust me!
