Tired of the boring chicken and rice you have to eat to hit your protein and carb goals? ME TOO. You have to try my version of the gym bro chicken and rice that has more protein and way more flavour.
Some Notes on the Ingredients:
Chicken thighs - you could sub this for any protein you like, I just prefer chicken thighs.
Rice - I am a basmati queen.
Lentils - In this recipe I used green canned lentils, but feel free to use dried lentils if you prefer that!
Chicken broth - like always, it doesn’t make too much of a difference using homemade chicken broth vs bouillon cubes in boiling water. I used homemade broth in mine.
Korean BBQ seasoning - I love the one from Farm Boy, but you can leave this out if you don’t want to use it.
Notes:
If you want to have a different ratio of rice to lentils, you can play with that by adding less or more rice.

YES!
This recipe would be perfect for meal prep and will split up into containers easily.
